because i dont think the line up is all that great. i feel its (year in, year out) somewhat over rated.

I don't really go for the line-up (that's what Reading & Great Escape are for) but there are still quite a few acts there I want to see.

exactly, loads of people like your good self dont go for the line up, which proves my point that people go, just for the sake of going. thing is, howcome other festivals have much better line ups yet glastonbury's prices are exorbitant in comparison?

Why not go just for the festival vibe?

I know it's expensive but it's not different to the cost of Reading or Leeds. Think Download is the same cost.

Latitude has an amazing line-up and it's a few pennies cheaper. GOing to that as well.

the price might not be too different then, but the line up appears to be nowhere near as good. anyway, i fell like i'm making gthe same point over and over again so i'll stop! sorry.

There's also the point that Glastobury is fucking massive compared to all the others festivals so there's no point in making cast iron plans to see certain acts.

Glastonbury is only 50% about the music anyway, if that. It's supposed to be an amazing experience, and if there's not some bands on that leaked list that'll blow you away I'd be very surprised.

I'd pay half the ticket fee to see Crowded House alone. They're one of the best bands in the world! Songwriters pretty much up there with Lennon and McCartney.
