Winamp or any other media player that plays ogg files.
Some portable players do even play ogg files. Basically ogg is a patent-free alternative to mp3 that offers better quality for the same filesize / same quality with reduced filesize.
If you want to play the files on your portable player but it doesn't support ogg, you can download this free ogg>>mp3 converter. Simply drag the ogg files on the logo of the programme, it will convert them after that:

Great recording, thanks Powermonkey. I dont usually like audience recordings as it gets om my tits when you hear people chatting away throughout a gig but this had hardly any of that.
Sorry if you have answered this before, but i remember that you asked the management permision to record this. Did they agree? And does that mean they will let you record future shambles gigs? _________________ Det. William Moreland: Them Greeks sure have some weird-ass names.

I asked them, and they said that they were recording Shambles gigs wherever possible, but they'd be in touch if there was an oppoortunity in the future. It was a kind of 'don't call us, we'll (not) call you' kind of thing.
I'm hoping to record future shows (although it will more than likely have to be done on the sly). I doubt they'd bother to record shows at places like the Woodberry Tavern, so hopefully if I get a bit of notice I might get to a few smaller shindigs.
